Notes
Shows how an action defined once is attached to each row, authorized per request on the server, and reported honestly when it is refused. It uses synthetic accounts and data, in Lit and React views built from one contract.
Where it works
| Host | Status | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Claude web | Verified in recorded runs | Exercised with the same React view and action runtime: Archive displayed the server’s result and a fresh list reflected the archived notes. Source for Claude web |
| ChatGPT web | Verified in recorded runs | Exercised with a React view and the shared action runtime: Mark read changed state locally and Archive used the authenticated server, including a refusal before the request. Some first card loads needed Try again. Source for ChatGPT web |
| Alexa+ | Not verified | Not verified for this example. The SDK’s recorded Alexa+ simulator probes found in-card server calls did not complete, and it advises exposing consequential operations through the conversation. Source for Alexa+ |
Run it yourself
What you need
- A checkout of the SDK repository and Node 22.23.3 or newer.
- No hosted copy exists, so there is nothing to connect. The host runs above are recorded in the SDK’s compatibility notes.
Run it locally through the demonstration
- From the SDK repository root, run npm ci and then npm run build:demo. This writes apps/lit-host/dist/demo.
- Inside that directory, run npm install --omit=dev and npm start, then open the address it prints.
- Choose Alice on the local host page, open Notes and press Archive on a note. End the notes session and try another Archive to see the prerequisite refuse it.
- The sign-in choices are fixed development credentials, not a production identity flow.
